Intumescent acrylic mastic is used to seal gaps between wall and floor structures and linear joints. Mastic is also used to seal fire ducts and smoke ducts when crossing walls or other structures. Mastic can also be used around metal pipes and electrical cables to restore the fire resistance of wall and floor structures with openings for communication. Mastic can provide fire resistance for up to 240 minutes, depending on the application and the base material.
